Since October, the police in Germany have been looking for Mirnesa S.* (42), a former employee of a money transport company from Stuttgart. She stole a million euros and went into hiding. Now the researchers have published several photos of the blonde. A recording shows the moment of the theft.
Apparently, the coup was planned well in advance. S. started at the money transport company in the spring of 2022. She actually worked as a telephone operator, so she shouldn’t have come into contact with the money.
But: every now and then the woman made herself useful in other ways. She allegedly helped reload cash, as reported by “Bild”. The shrink-wrapped banknotes are packaged in special cassettes. The money is then taken to banks or ATMs are filled with it. The trained goldsmith offered her help. Apparently not out of kindness, but to get close to all the money.
“They Were Real Apparitions”
Mirnesa S. was already big before the millions were stolen. Rolex, champagne, luxury handbags and sunglasses: according to “Bild”, she has repeatedly documented her luxurious lifestyle on social media. This caught the eye of the German. A neighbor told the newspaper how she saw the millionaire thief walking with a man. “They were real apparitions.”
The couple would have lived in a prefabricated housing estate. At the time, the crook introduced himself as a branch manager.
The German police are hoping for tips from the population. There is a great reward. “A private offer of 37,500 euros is being made,” the detectives write in their statement. Apparently more than 60 tips have already been received. But so far the German is still on the run. (nad)
