They were looking for evidence, Dresden police said Sunday morning. “The measures will take some time,” it said.
Further information is currently not possible due to ongoing investigations. The result of the search cannot be communicated at the moment either.
During the burglary in the Green Vault in Dresden in November 2019, culturally valuable jewelery from the 18th century was stolen. The loot had an estimated insurance value of no less than 113.8 million euros.
In mid-December of this year, the authorities managed to secure a significant part of the loot. The detectives referred to agreements in the context of the ongoing trial in Dresden against six suspects. They all belong to a clan from Berlin.
