One question remains: where does all the money come from? The Greek tax authorities are already biting. When Kaili gets away with her excuses in Belgium, the Greek authorities want to catch her.
Kaili’s lawyer Michalis Dimitrakopoulos continues to insist on the 44-year-old’s innocence. Kaili “knew nothing” about the money found on her. Francesco Giorgi, the partner of the fallen political star, has now pleaded guilty. At the same time, he demanded the release of his beloved. Kaili was not the recipient of the money, he said. For now, however, Eva Kaili remains in custody.
