According to a report, more weapons were seized than previously known during the large-scale raid against a suspected terrorist group from the Reichsbürger scene.

A total of 93 weapons have been seized, the “world” reported Monday evening. The “world” referred to participants in a non-public special session of the Bundestag’s Home Committee. These include 19 pistols and 25 long guns. Knives, crossbows, decorative weapons and loose pistols were also found. According to the report, there are also some 200 legal guns from a gun dealer who is also one of the suspects.

The meeting participants were informed by the Attorney General, the Interior Ministry, the Federal Criminal Investigation Department and the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution that the group’s plans went so far as to require “cleaning up” at the municipal level, the “Welt” further reported. They should therefore meet mayors, for example.

On Wednesday, police and the federal prosecutor’s office deployed several thousand troops across the country against a suspected terrorist network of Reich citizens allegedly planning a violent overthrow. There are more than 50 suspects; The suspects also include an active-duty soldier and reservists from the Bundeswehr, as well as former AfD MP and Berlin judge Birgit Malsack-Winkemann. (sda/afp)
