Snowed in England: dozens of people spend the night in Pub 27 Bodies discovered in Zambia – probably suffocated in transit

Dozens of people in England involuntarily spent the night in a pub from Sunday to Monday due to heavy snowfall.

As the BBC reported, dozens of drivers got stuck in the snow at the “Bear Inn” in East Sussex – and found shelter there for the night. After the guest rooms in the pub were taken, the pub owners provided mattresses for the stranded children’s children and distributed free hot drinks and food. A woman described the scene on local BBC radio as “biblical”.

It rarely snows in the south east of England. But on Sunday evening, several centimeters of snow fell in a short time, leading to chaos on roads, railways and airports.

According to the report, some of the “Bear Inn” people passed the time singing Christmas carols. A cellist gave a taste of her abilities. (sda/dpa)
