Convicted rapist also lived in asylum seekers center

Exactly one week ago, a murder shocked the southern German community of Illerkirchberg: an Eritrean asylum seeker (27) attacked two girls with a knife, killing Ece S.* († 14). Her classmate (13) was seriously injured.

The knife attack not only aroused great displeasure among the population, but also sharp criticism of local politics. The asylum seekers were known to have abused girls from time to time. Even a week after the knife attack, the village still hasn’t calmed down. As the ‘image’ showed, the Eritreans are not the only criminals in the refugee house.

He drugged and raped girls (14).

According to the newspaper, the previously convicted Afghan Mukthar N.* (29) had lived in the asylum seekers’ center for months. And that despite the fact that he and three friends drugged and raped a 14-year-old girl for hours in 2019.

After N.* had served his sentence of two years and two months, he ended up in custody in January 2022 pending deportation. Despite a police warning about N., the German Federal Ministry of the Interior decided not to deport the Afghan.

Instead, he was billeted again in March 2022 in the refugee shelter in Illerkirchberg. Claudia Zühlke (44), who has lived in the same house as the refugee house for years, finds it all incomprehensible. “No one informed us about it, no one protects us,” the neighbor told the newspaper.

She is said to have experienced “pure horror” in recent months. The police were always in the house. For Zühlke the case is clear: according to her, some asylum seekers are “rapists”.

“I have a lot of problems with the police”

According to the neighbour, Mukthar N. also constantly received yellow judicial mail. On the day of Ece S.’s funeral, he packed his bags and left.

The “Bild” reached the convicted sex offender by phone: “I have a lot of problems with the police. No one can know where I am. Don’t ask me about it anymore,” said N. He did not want to say whether he now wants to avoid deportation. dzc)
