Climate stickers block Munich and Berlin airports

There are disruptive actions by climate activists in Germany again! At Munich and Berlin Brandenburg airports, some people cut fences to gain access to the grounds.

The “last generation” activists clung to the ground in Munich on the northern runway of the area. According to “Bild”, the police are on duty.

As “Focus” reports, one of the airport’s two runways had to be closed. According to a spokesman, obstacles in air traffic are to be expected.

Activists are also causing commotion at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER). As the “Last Generation” says on Twitter, activists have been stuck in both Munich and Berlin. “We are outright against the causes of the climate catastrophe,” the group writes.

Two weeks ago climate stickers were busy on the runway of Berlin Brandenburg Airport. Five starts had to be canceled as a result of the campaign. In addition, 15 planned landings had to be diverted to other airports. Flights from Switzerland were also affected. The Blick Group’s co-head of news, Jessica von Duehren-Cattani (31), ended up in Dresden instead of Berlin with her two sons (4). (no)
