This line from Haftbefehl’s new album “Mainpark Baby” makes Twitter explode. Do you have any streaming suggestions for the Christmas break? So for 17 films and series

Haftbefehl released a new album on Thursday at midnight. It’s called “Mainpark Baby” and is only 37 minutes long – that’s how his fans on Twitter react to its release.

Last summer, the arrest warrant rapper shocked his fans with a performance in Mannheim, which had to be canceled due to his drunkenness. His health was so bad that the entire summer tour was canceled. The busker is currently staying in Dubai, where it should be easier for him to stay off drugs due to the harsh punishment. Yesterday, December 1, he released his new album.

The video of the performance in Mannheim:

“Mainpark Baby” is his seventh studio album after “The Black Album” since releasing his first in 2010. The name refers to the place where he grew up: the Mainpark high-rise estate in Offenbach, right next to Frankfurt. The soon-to-be 37-year-old father is seen on the cover with one of his sons. 13 songs fill almost 37 minutes and the release is accompanied by five short films titled “Flight”, “Innocence”, “Life”, “Pein” and “Death”.

Surprisingly, in the outro of “Last Track”, Haftzettel announces his rap-off with the words: “I changed the language, here’s my last song”. Meanwhile, his fans on Twitter react very differently to the new album – some celebrate it as his best album, others think its time is slowly coming to an end.
