At the beginning of November, a car with Swiss registration was involved in a fatal accident in Romania. When the Mercedes AMG GTS with over 500 hp crashed, the passenger († 19), a Romanian from the region, was killed. The dead driver was Alex E.* (28), the former partner of “Lion’s Cave” judge Anja Graf (45). The car was traded in to her company.

Because E. was in mortal danger after the crash, he was taken to a special clinic in Bucharest for treatment. As the local newspaper “Ziarul Argeşul” reports, the Swiss self-made millionaire has now flown him to Switzerland with Rega. “I felt that medical care in Switzerland is better than in Romania,” says Graf, who has made a name for himself in the real estate sector by renting out corporate apartments. She also wanted permanent damage to E.

Is the accident the reason for your love comeback?

Graf was perfect with her instincts, as it turned out later at Zurich University Hospital: “All surgeries performed in Romania had to be corrected in Switzerland,” says Graf, who lives and does business in Romania. E. had surgery on both legs again.

The Swiss paid for the special flight and operations out of its own pocket. This came naturally to her. “In such an emergency, money is not a problem.” And all this for a man she called her ex-partner two weeks ago in an interview with Blick? Not even close. “We’re a couple again,” Graf explains. After the two temporarily separated a few months ago, they had become close again shortly before the accident.

The tragic incident would certainly have played a part in their love comeback. However, he was not the deciding factor. “The accident accelerated everything,” explains the entrepreneur.

‘Alex makes serious accusations’

Her boyfriend is still in bad shape. “Alex can’t walk or sit up.” He too was severely traumatized by the serious accident.

“He blames himself for his passenger’s death,” says Graf. The fatal victim was the brother of a close friend of his. According to Graf, her boyfriend is not responsible for the death of his passenger. E. was not drunk on the road – even though the Romanian media claimed so.

Previously he would have toasted alone. But that’s not all: “He was already at the birthday party, but then decided to bring the car home in advance – so as not to have to drive home drunk.”

The fatal victim once wanted to drive an AMG Mercedes

The 19-year-old who later had an accident would have wanted to drive his Mercedes. “He told him he had never been in a car like that before.” However, his girlfriend cannot imagine that E. would have accelerated unnecessarily. “Alex is neither a racer nor a big car fan.” How the fatal accident could have happened remains a mystery to the Swiss woman. The investigation is ongoing.

It is still unclear when the “Lion’s Den” judge will be able to return to Romania with her boyfriend. “First Alex has to get really healthy again,” says Graf. Her boyfriend is also likely to stay in Switzerland for rehab.
