Meteorologists have issued a hurricane warning for southeastern Florida. As the US Hurricane Center (NHC) announced, Tropical Storm “Nicole” could hit parts of the east and south coasts as a hurricane Wednesday night.
Hurricane conditions are expected over parts of the coast of southeast and east-central FL as of late Wednesday or Wednesday evening, where a hurricane warning has been issued. Severe storms are expected in the states of Florida and Georgia from Wednesday morning. On the east coast of Florida and the coast of Georgia, storm surges with large and dangerous waves can occur. There is a risk of flooding in Georgia and South Carolina on Thursday. A hurricane warning was also issued for the northwest of the Bahamas on Wednesday. (saw/sda/dpa)
