Trump alludes to his candidacy again: “Very, very, very likely” “We were fooled”: Russian soldiers don’t get their money – and promptly go on strike

Former US President Donald Trump has again hinted that he could run for the White House again in the 2024 election. “To make our country successful, safe and glorious, I will very, very, very likely do it again,” he said Thursday night (local time) at a Republican campaign event in Sioux City, Iowa.

“Get ready, that’s all I’m telling you,” the 76-year-old added. Trump appeared as a speaker at the rally in support of the Republican nominees for the November 8 congressional election.

During his performance, the ex-president reiterated the long-disputed claim that he had also won the 2020 election. To this day, the Republican refuses to admit defeat to US President Joe Biden. Trump has been flirting with another presidential candidacy since he was voted out.

All 435 seats in the House of Representatives and about a third of the seats in the Senate will be reassigned next Tuesday in the US “midterm” elections — the middle of Biden’s tenure. In addition, governor elections are underway in several states. Polls show Republicans have a good chance of winning the House of Representatives. An exciting race for the majority is predicted for the Senate. (sda/dpa)
