A 24-year-old American from Las Vegas has had cheap injections in her lips. Shortly afterwards, her lips were so swollen that it was difficult for her to eat, drink and speak. The reason for the swelling: anaphylactic shock.
In the emergency room, doctors gave her an injection of adrenaline to counteract the allergic reaction. The swelling subsided within 24 hours, but her lips were still badly damaged. Photos and TikTok videos show the 24-year-old in hospital with severely swollen lips:
