Paul Pelosi (82) was violently attacked Friday morning (local time) in a burglary at his home. He is the husband of Nancy Pelosi (82), the highest-ranking legislator in the United States.
“Earlier this morning, an attacker broke into the Pelosi’s home in San Francisco and violently assaulted Mr. Pelosi,” the Democratic congressman said. “The attacker is in custody and the motive for the attack is being investigated.”
The severity of the injuries is still unclear
Paul Pelosi was taken to hospital. He is currently receiving medical care there. The severity of the injuries is unknown at this time.
Nancy Pelosi has been Speaker of the United States House of Representatives since January 2019. Her visit to Taiwan last summer made international headlines.
