50 Cent’s ex-girlfriend accuses him of sexual and physical abuse Pope in Easter stress: what awaits the 87-year-old – and how he plans to get through it

In recent days, rapper P. Diddy has been in the spotlight due to allegations of sexual violence. Now rapper 50 Cent is also accused of sexual abuse – by his ex-girlfriend.

As a result of the scandal surrounding rapper P. Diddy, rapper 50-Cent is now also in the crossfire. His ex-girlfriend Daphne Joy, with whom he had a relationship between 2010 and 2012, accuses him of sexually and physically abusing her. The two have a 12-year-old son together.

The accusation came after her own name was mentioned in the lawsuit against P. Diddy. It labeled her a sex worker who was paid monthly for her sexual services by Sean Combs, aka P. Diddy.

She defended herself against the accusations on Instagram, writing:

“The claim that I am a sex worker is 100 percent false and character assassination.”

Her ex-boyfriend Curtis James Jackson, better known as 50-Cent, joked about this information about X, but without specifically mentioning her name. He tweeted:

“I didn’t know you were a sex worker, you little sex worker. LOL. Yo, this shit is a movie.”

But he didn’t seem to find the fact all that funny, because after her name came out in the P. Diddy case, he requested sole custody of her son. He explained the move to The Hollywood Reporter:

“The disturbing allegations contained in the affidavits filed in a recent lawsuit involving Daphne Joy, the mother of my 12-year-old child, have forced me to take all necessary legal action to protect my son Sire.”

Serious accusations for 50 Cent

On Friday evening, Daphne Joy then published her allegations against 50 Cent on Instagram.

In it, she initially accuses him of not having been a good father. She moved to New York with her son specifically to be near him. In two years, during which they lived less than 2 kilometers apart, he saw their son only ten times. She was tired of maintaining an image of his father to her son that he did not deserve.

Then she made harsh accusations:

“Let’s focus on your real bad deeds, like rape and physical abuse. You are no longer my oppressor, and my God will take care of you from now on. You have completely destroyed the last hope I had for you as a father to preserve our family with the last and final accusations against me. You broke our hearts for the last and final time.”

The rapper denied the allegations to The Hollywood Reporter:

“Daphne Joy’s recent false and unfounded allegations are clearly in response to my decision to seek sole custody of my son. My son Sire is my top priority and my only focus right now is keeping him in a safe environment.”

50 Cent was even accused of domestic violence against Daphne Joy in 2013. He pleaded guilty and was given three years’ probation and community service.

How the case got started

The scandal started with P. Diddy. In recent months there have been allegations of sexual violence against the rapper. Producer Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones filed a lawsuit in federal court in New York in February. He accuses the 54-year-old of sexually harassing, drugging and threatening him over a period of more than a year. Combs, one of the hip-hop industry’s most successful exponents who also works as a record producer, actor and in other areas of business, had the allegations dismissed as lies by his legal team in February.

In December 2023, an unnamed woman filed a lawsuit accusing Combs and two other men of drugging and raping her when she was 17 at the rapper’s New York studio in 2003. Previously, three women had filed civil lawsuits against Combs , including his ex-girlfriend singer Cassie, who accused the rapper of sexual abuse, rape, intimidation and physical violence during their relationship. Combs reached a settlement with Cassie in November. (saw)
