On Wednesday, RAF terrorist Daniela Klette was arrested in the middle of Berlin after a thirty-year manhunt. Now ‘heavy weapons of war’ have been found in her house, a spokesperson for the Public Prosecution Service of Verden announced on Thursday.
The seven-storey building in Berlin-Kreuzberg was evacuated by police on Wednesday evening. Later, some residents of another house also had to leave their apartments. The road was completely closed. The lockdown was not lifted until early Thursday morning.
When the apartment was searched, there were blackberries Weapons, pistol magazines and ammunition is found. On Wednesday evening, forensic investigators had one grenade taken out of the house and another potentially dangerous item was taken out and loaded into a special vehicle on Thursday morning.
