Several dozen farmers tried to approach the place where Macron was talking to the unions on Saturday. The security service and police were initially able to push back the angry farmers. After a few tumultuous scenes, the clashes ended before the group repeatedly attempted to breach the security cordon.

The demonstrators whistled and booed the president. Cries of “Macron, resign” were heard again and again.
