Several people were injured, some seriously, in a head-on collision between two light rail vehicles in the southern German city of Stuttgart on Friday.
A fire brigade spokesperson said in the morning that one person was trapped and had to be freed. It was initially unclear how many people were injured in total.
Operational measures were still ongoing on Friday morning. According to initial findings, the trains approached each other on the same track. Nothing further was known about the accident. The accident took place around 10 a.m. in the Wangen district of Stuttgart. (SDA)
