The boys were between 13 and 14 years old when teacher Cassidy K.* (24) abused them. The woman from the American state of Iowa has to answer to court for “sexual acts with three students” – as the sheriff responsible puts it.
During a court hearing in Carrol County this week, the English teacher pleaded guilty to multiple charges, Inside Edition reported. Cassidy K. admitted to sending Snapchat messages with pornographic content to the students. She also admitted to inappropriately touching the students and sexually assaulting one of them.
The marriage lasted only a month
Cassidy K. has now lost her job and her husband – and on top of that, she faces a prison sentence of up to 33 years.
She married shortly before she was arrested last October. The marriage did not last long. According to court documents, her husband filed for divorce just a month after the wedding.
She had to resign
The reason may have been that he had heard about the English teacher’s derailments at her school in Manning. After rumors arose about the teacher’s pornographic Snapchat messages.
Cassidy K. is currently free on $10,000 bail. The verdict will be pronounced on March 11. (no)
