What really happened that fateful night in Kansas City? American media have been speculating about this for weeks. The only thing that was clear so far was that three men lay dead in the garden – and no one knew why.

David H.* (†37), Ricky J.* (†38) and Clayton M.* (†36) met for the last time together with Jordan W.* in Kansas City, Missouri, USA on January 7. Watch the regular season game of the Kansas City Chiefs football team.

The men did not return home. When a fiancée finally drove to Jordan W.’s house to look for her boyfriend herself, she found an unknown body on the porch. She alerted the police and they found two more bodies in the backyard.

No murder investigation – was it an overdose?

The investigators do not know what happened that evening. However, now the toxicology report is available, Fox 4 reports. And that’s quite something: the men apparently consumed several substances that evening, including cocaine.

Text messages to friends that evening also say the same thing. According to the New York Post, they talked about using drugs. Neighbors also claim they saw the men carrying cases of beer into the house.

Experts say the men may have overdosed on alcohol and drugs or passed out from drinking outside – and froze to death in January’s near-freezing temperatures.

Jordan W., the host himself, is not considered a suspect. According to his own statements, he cannot remember well. “He was sleeping. “He was on the couch,” his lawyer told the New York Post. All he knows is how his friends left the house. His memory apparently only begins to recover when the police arrive. Since then he went to a clinic for rehabilitation. (neo)
