Construction worker Peter Norgrove is sent to prison for fifteen years.

Incredible surveillance footage is currently rocking Britain. They show Peter Norgrove (43), the murderer of Rhian Brown (†58). The construction worker hit his client several times with a hammer because she criticized him for working too slowly. It took Norgrove fifteen months to complete an extension to her home instead of six weeks.

Because she didn’t trust the construction worker she met through Jehovah’s Witnesses, Brown had a surveillance camera installed. The bell also had a surveillance function.

Photos show blood on his arm and leg

Images from the day of the murder have now been released. They show how Norgrove initially works in the garden. Shortly before 2 p.m. he starts cleaning up and puts on a pair of red gloves. He then gains access to the house through the back door. The doorbell then records banging sounds and screams for 18 seconds. 20 minutes later, Norgrove leaves the house again – with a bloodstain on his calf and a bag under his arm.

Norgrove runs to his car and puts the bag away. He whistles as if nothing happened. Then he goes back to the house. A short time later, the surveillance camera shows him outside in the garden again, finishing up his clean-up work, covered in blood. Both his right leg and right arm are colored red.

Meanwhile, Brown lay dying at the top of her stairs. According to British media, her pain lasted about an hour.

After the murder he held a service

During this time, Norgrove went home to put his clothes in the washing machine. He then picked up his daughter from school and visited his mother-in-law. He hid the hammer he used to kill Brown in her shed. In the evening, the killer led a church service of Jehovah’s Witnesses – as if nothing had happened.

The process does not even leave the judge unmoved. Michael Chambers sentenced Norgrove to life in prison with a minimum term of 15 years. He also told the perpetrator that it was a “brutal and cruel murder” with a hammer that Norgrove had “deliberately” brought into the house.

The motive is clear to the judge: “You were angry because you were criticized for your construction work, which took many months.” Chambers sees no trace of regret. “After [dem Mord] You coolly went to school to pick up your daughter, showered and shaved, and went to church where you led a service. I’m not convinced you feel remorse.” (Ms.)
