The American airline Delta Airlines lost a nose gear shortly before takeoff in the American state of Georgia. The plane is one Boeing 757that would fly to the Colombian capital Bogotá, American media reported on Wednesday (local time).
According to the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), one of the wheels in the forward part of the plane came loose during preparations for takeoff at Atlanta airport. So the incident took place on Saturday.
There were 184 passengers and six crew members on board the plane, the report said. The passengers left the plane and boarded Replacement aircraft The Washington Post reports this based on a statement from Delta Airlines. The affected aircraft was made operational again on Sunday.
