In Lithuania, hundreds of farmers demonstrated against the austerity plans and agricultural policies of the government of the Baltic EU country. According to media reports, more than a thousand tractors and agricultural machines from all over the country gathered in long columns on Tuesday for a large protest in the center of the capital Vilnius.
