In a house in Costessey, near Norfolk, police made a terrible discovery on Friday morning: inside were the bodies of Bartlomei K.* († 45), his two daughters and a 36-year-old woman.
They were all injured and, according to police, died violently. Nothing is yet known about a murder weapon. A knife found nearby in a wooded area has nothing to do with the crime, police say. She had to push her way in.
The woman had just visited
45-year-old Bartlomei K. was an engineer and worked in the real estate sector. He was married and lived at the crime scene address with his two daughters. The woman found dead in the house was apparently just visiting. Police are not releasing any information about her identity.
The police are still at the beginning of their investigation. Lead investigator Chris Burgess told British media: “We can confirm that all four were found injured and an autopsy will be carried out in due course to determine the cause of death.” However, this is believed to be an isolated case. Means: One person among the dead was also the perpetrator.
He had mental problems
Apparently there was a commotion in the neighborhood about Bartlomei K. just before Christmas: he was reported missing at the time, neighbors told the Daily Mail. One says: “People were looking for him, and then a neighbor going up the hill found him.”
Bartlomei’s sister-in-law finally came over to take care of him. “I believe he was having mental health issues at the time he disappeared. “People were talking about him not feeling well,” the neighbor continues.
