British King Charles III. According to his wife Queen Camilla, he is doing well despite the planned hospital treatment.
The 76-year-old was asked about the king during a visit to Aberdeen, Scotland, on Thursday. “He is doing well, thank you,” Camilla said, according to the PA news agency. Charles is looking forward to getting back to work.
The monarch is due to undergo surgery next week after being diagnosed with an enlarged prostate. The 75-year-old has been the British monarch since September 2022.
At the same time, his daughter-in-law, Princess Kate, is also being treated in hospital. It is expected that the 42-year-old will remain in hospital for up to two weeks after abdominal surgery and then recover for a longer period.
