Christina Block has made a lot of headlines in recent weeks. The reason for this was a dispute over custody.

In the custody dispute of entrepreneur Christina Block (49), the Danish police are looking for witnesses to the deprivation of liberty of the two children in Gråsten, Denmark, on New Year’s Eve. The responsible police in southern Denmark announced this on Wednesday.

In concrete terms, on the one hand, it concerns a couple consisting of a woman and a man, who would have stayed in the port of Gråsten until January 1, 2024 at 12:12 p.m. and left it on foot in a northerly direction. On the other hand, they are looking for a man who was setting off fireworks in the harbor around 12.12 pm and may have noticed the incident.

A years-long custody dispute deteriorates

The 50-year-old Hamburg entrepreneur and her ex-husband (49) have been fighting in court for years over the custody of two of their four children. The two children have been living with their father in Denmark for more than two years, although a court in Hamburg had temporarily transferred the right of residence to the mother.

According to Danish police, unknown people attacked Block’s ex-husband on New Year’s Eve in southern Denmark near the German border and took his 10-year-old son and 13-year-old daughter in two cars. Danish police said it then turned out that the children were with their mother in Hamburg.

According to her lawyer, Block denies involvement in the violent repatriation operation on New Year’s Eve. After the Hamburg High Court issued a preliminary injunction requiring the children to return to their father, they are now back in his care in Denmark. Block is the daughter of the founder of the Block House restaurant chain. (SDA)
