She was only 35 years old: Mila De Jesus, a well-known weight loss influencer from Brazil, died on Friday. She leaves behind four children and a husband.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Mila De Jesus,” her daughter Anna-Clara (15) wrote on her mother’s Instagram account to some 63,000 followers. They are devastated by the death of their wonderful mother.
Mother of four children suffered from a skin disease
In the message, the young person asks that the grief of De Jesus’ family and friends be respected. “We will miss her immensely,” it continues.
De Jesus’ weight loss journey started a few years ago. She often shared before and after photos on her profile – her transformation was impressive. In the beginning, she had lost several kilos thanks to a stomach reduction.
The otherwise well-positioned influencer recently announced that he had been struggling with psoriasis for months. According to the young woman, this takes up 80 percent of her body. She went on to write that her life consisted of doctors, medicine, ointments and deep breathing.
She recently married the love of her life
Psoriasis is one of the most common inflammatory skin diseases that usually progresses in episodes. Typical symptoms are red, scaly patches that are often very itchy.
It is unclear whether the skin disease was ultimately the reason that De Jesus’ heart stopped beating.
