Two people were injured by a machete in Berlin on Sunday evening. As the police wrote in a press release on Monday, emergency services were called to the Hansaplatz metro station in the Hansaviertel in Mitte around 7:15 p.m. Initially there was an argument between two people.

According to the current findings of the authorities and statements from witnesses at the scene, a 29-year-old man allegedly hit the later unknown suspect in the face with his fist. The unknown man then allegedly attacked the 29-year-old attacked with a machete and injured his hand.
