Shocking burglary case on the North Sea. In the small town of St. Peter-Ording, three men committed a burglary on Thursday evening and brutally beat up the couple living there. This is what the police say.
The three men rang the doorbell and then entered the apartment. The man (†99) was then so severely abused by the burglars that he died on the spot. His wife (79) was also brutally abused, she was seriously injured and eventually alerted the rescuers.
Neighbors speak of an “incredible” act
According to the current police investigation, the three men stole “a small amount of cash and valuables” during the burglary. The perpetrators were able to escape after the brutal act and the police are now looking for them.
As neighbors told the newspaper ‘Bild’, there were several attempted burglaries at the couple’s home in recent weeks. They were ‘very rich’. Still, the neighbors are in shock. “O kind-hearted people, it is incredible.” (zis)
