Late last year, some surfers at Rincon Beach, a beach just north of the city of Ventura, California, achieved something many people probably dream of: they shared the waves with dolphins. The following photos were taken:
Dolphin sightings are not uncommon off California’s Pacific coast. They are often found at the spot “Rincon Beach”, which is popular with surfers, as other videos on the Internet show.
But the fact that an entire group of marine mammals emerges from the water at an arm’s length is certainly not an everyday occurrence and is a magical moment that many surfers would dream of. (lso)
