Bern coach in the midst of Russian partial mobilization

Dismay at the Swiss travel organization Dysli Bern! One of their buses is apparently used in Russia for war purposes. This is what photos on the Russian YouTube channel 1420 suggest. The account is played by a group of young Russians. In their home country they conduct interviews about the war in Ukraine.

“My friend will soon end up in the hell of the war”, the group photo reads. A carriage with the inscription “Dysli Reisen Bern” can be seen in the background. As part of the partial mobilization, about 300,000 Russians were brought to the front. And right in the middle: a Swiss bus!

How can that be? The Bernese tour company can hardly believe where one of their buses has ended up. “We distance ourselves from that,” co-owner Marc Dysli (41) tells Blick. The family business has nothing to do with it. The coach is a vehicle that was used by the Dysli company until the end of 2011. “The vehicle, which is likely 26 years old today, has been replaced and sold to a bus dealer,” Dysli continued.

Company tries to identify the buyer

Actually, the lettering of the Bern family business should have been removed. That was the agreement. Dysli on Blick: “Our purchase and sales contracts make it very clear that the buyer must remove all writing.” Steps are now being explored to take action against the buyer.

The company goes through its records to locate and confront the buyer. However, it is quite possible that the vehicle has been resold two or three times in recent years. “So I’m not really optimistic that the lettering on the bus will be removed.”

Unfortunately, it happens time and again that vehicles are exported and the company logos are not removed. In this case it is particularly annoying.
