German bend in the Gotthard – she calls it “a kind of tunnel” “Time of fulfillment”: a sect from South Korea is also proselytizing tirelessly in Zurich

A turning maneuver in the Gotthard tunnel costs a German TikToker a lot of money.

“Suddenly there was a long tunnel, that is the tunnel between Switzerland and Italy,” says TikToker Celinajoyy in a now-deleted video. The tunnel in question goes over the Gotthard, which is 17 kilometers long. Celina and her friend wanted to go back to the hotel after skating. “On the way back we took the wrong turn. According to the navigation system, we suddenly had to drive 2.5 hours instead of 20 minutes,” she explains.

So they couldn’t think of anything better than to drive into an SOS bay and turn around there. “We didn’t know there were two crossed out lines on the ground so we turned around,” says Celina. And there, as in all other tunnels, it is strictly forbidden to turn – even though the TikToker thinks there are “certain special rules”.

The two saved time, but not money. At the end of the tunnel the cantonal police were already waiting for them and asked them to follow the police car. “Afterwards it was said that we would receive a fine of 1,200 francs and a declaration,” the TikToker continued. She is angry about this in vain, because even her followers did not understand this traffic violation.

“The lines are not only solid, but also covered and raised with points of light, how can you miss that?”, user Gina Susanna comments below the video.

Celina also tried to collect donations via Paypay. She shared her account details with her followers.

She has since apologized in a TikTok video:

“Some people misinterpreted my video yesterday” and “The Paypal link thing was more of a joke and not an invitation to support me.” She had never been to Switzerland and was completely lost: “I didn’t realize at the time that it was the Gotthard Tunnel.”
