Nine months, 60 countries, seven continents: the passengers of the Serenade of the Seas will travel around the world in approximately 274 days. The ship will visit approximately 150 ports. According to Royal Caribbean, it is the longest cruise the line has ever offered.

The ship left Miami (USA) about two weeks ago. The journey first takes you to the Caribbean, then to South America and Antarctica.

Angela Linderman (38) lost both parents to cancer within a very short time, she tells the New York Post. “Then I told myself I wouldn’t wait until I retired before I did things like that.” She quickly resorted to the life insurance money and booked a cruise around the world.

“The genetic makeup of my family doesn’t allow me to live particularly long, so the motto is to do everything I can now, so to speak,” Linderman said earlier in a Tiktok video that has already racked up several hundred thousand views. She now shares her cruise stories with more than 160,000 followers.

50,000 to 100,000 francs per cabin

The American Brooklyn Schwetje also travels around the world. Within two weeks, she built a community of 170,000 followers who have liked her videos more than 1.7 million times. In addition to food videos and daily life, there are also tours of the rooms of the passenger and her friends.

According to the cruise line, a cabin for the cruise costs between 50,000 and 100,000 francs. This includes business class flights to and from Miami, food and drinks, internet and laundry service.

Some cabins have no windows and are located inside the ship. Others, however, have spacious rooms with a private balcony. The passengers will now stay there for approximately 250 days. According to the cruise line’s plans, the ship will not dock in Miami again until September 2024 and end the voyage there.
