On Christmas Eve, a fatal car accident occurred in Untersiebenbrunn.

When rescuers from the Untersiebenbrunn volunteer fire brigade arrived at the scene of the accident on Christmas Eve, they recognized a familiar car. It belongs to a 36-year-old firefighter.

Particularly tragic: the woman who died as a result of the serious accident is also the mother of a 15-year-old firefighter who was on the scene during the operation, Austrian media reported.

The fire brigade is still at the scene of the accident and is trying to save the life of their colleague. But all help came too late for the woman who, for reasons that are still unclear, drove her car off the road and fell into a stream bed.

The young firefighter has to watch her mother die. According to reports, she is suffering from severe shock and is receiving psychological care. The young person is now without parents; her mother would have been a single parent.

Daughter suffered a severe shock

“We are in deep mourning today as we have lost a brave comrade – a dedicated firefighter, paramedic and loving mother,” the fire department wrote on Facebook a day later. The deceased was also active as a nurse.

“In this difficult hour, we stand together with your 15-year-old daughter, who is also part of our firefighting family,” it said on Facebook. To support them, the fire brigade has launched a call for donations. “We remember our comrade by not abandoning her daughter because of her dedication and service to the community,” it said on Facebook.
