According to user complaints, outages occurred worldwide, Tech Crunch reported. X Pro, formerly known as TweetDeck, was also affected by the outage.
According to the web monitoring tool “DownDetector”, more than 70,000 complaints were received from affected users within half an hour early in the morning.

After an outage that lasted about an hour, the problem appeared to be resolved shortly before 8 a.m. (CET) and messages returned.
It is not known what the cause of the malfunction is.
