After F. was arrested in August of this year, the following big bang followed: According to a report by ABC News, the mother of six children from the American state of Utah confessed to four out of six cases of serious child abuse: “It is with my deepest regret and sadness that I plead guilty to my family and my children,” F. said in court, according to the newspaper.

Wounds bandaged with cayenne pepper and honey

F. was arrested in August this year after her 12-year-old son climbed out of the window and told a neighbor that he had been assaulted.

A police report from Ivins, Utah, supported his statement. The child looked “emaciated and malnourished”. The boy also had open wounds on his limbs that had been ‘medicated’ with tape. According to the police, something similar happened to her ten-year-old daughter: during a house search she was found in a similar condition.

Incredibly, according to police reports obtained by ABC News, the mother allegedly bandaged her children’s wounds with cayenne pepper and honey. Following the search, a total of four minors were placed under the supervision of the authorities.

The therapist allegedly drove her to the actions

According to the mother, her business partner Jodi H., who worked as a trained therapist, apparently acted as the mastermind. H. manipulated her and drove her to commit the crimes in which she also allegedly participated.

It is said that she systematically isolated Mother F. from her extended family and her husband for a long period of time. As a result, F. developed a distorted sense of morality – which ultimately led to the misdeeds. As “ABC News” reports, H. has not yet responded to the accusations.

F’s sentencing is scheduled for February 20. Until then, F. will remain in custody. According to the report, she has agreed to serve the prison sentence, which will range from 1 to 15 years. (dzc)
