Little Deja Clark (12) from Australia will probably no longer experience what normally describes the daily life of a twelve-year-old. Her mother took her out of school to prepare her for a career as an influencer, the Daily Mail reports.
Kat Clark (37) is a Tiktok star herself. She presents the popular Australian podcast ‘Basically Besties’ together with her daughters Latisha (20) and Deja (12). 5.2 million followers follow her Tiktok account.
More and more absences
It makes no sense to her that her daughter is still at school. “School doesn’t work for us anymore,” Clark said in a recent podcast episode. The combination of school and social media used to work well because the Australian worked in a company and had a normal job.
Now, however, the initial situation has changed. «Since we started this job, I have had to travel a lot more. Deja now has more and more opportunities to travel, which means she cannot be at school from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Monday to Friday.” The parents would have to pick up their daughter from school more and more often.
The twelve-year-old now receives lessons from home. “We believe this is what is best for her and our family.” But the mother also admits: “If she realizes that she would rather go back to school, we will enroll her again.”
The eldest daughter quit her law studies
