This approach of the Hamas terrorists on October 7 also indicates that the attack on Israel was planned well in advance: the radical Islamists branded their hostages by sticking the children’s legs in the exhaust of their motorcycles. This was reported by the Israeli TV channel N12. Moreover, according to an uncle of two released hostage children, they had been drugged.

“The children were brought back to us and told moving stories about their experiences in Gaza,” said Yaniv Yaakov, whose nephews Yagil, 12, and Or, 16, were kidnapped from Kibbutz Nir Oz to the Gaza Strip. “One particularly disturbing detail that shocked me was how every child kidnapped by Hamas was put on a motorcycle. They placed the child’s leg against the exhaust pipe, causing burns.”

“Threatened to shoot children”

What’s behind this method? The children were marked so they could be easily identified if they tried to escape or if the Israeli army launched a rescue operation. The uncle is now happy that the boys are back. “They are safe with us now, even though they were drugged and treated horribly, but at least they are here with us now.”

On Wednesday, the aunt of another hostage, Frenchman Eitan, 12, said the militant Palestinians had intimidated captured children with their guns. “If they cried, they threatened to shoot the children,” says Devora Cohen. (no)
