Champagne at the reception and a party afterwards. Carla Bellucci (42) is already planning the family dinner for Christmas Day. The menu for the 15 people has already been determined – as well as the costs.
The fun time together has its price. That is why the British woman wants money from her relatives this year. Everyone who comes pays 150 pounds (166 francs).
This not only covers the costs, but also leaves something for Bellucci. “It’s not cheap to feed people, and it also takes a lot of time to prepare a nice meal,” the 42-year-old explained her unusual idea to the Daily Mail.
“If you want quality, you have to pay for it”
A glass of champagne is also included in the price. However, if you want to drink alcohol afterwards in the evening, all you need to do is bring something of your own. “Everything I do is for profit, and my family understands that,” Bellucci says.
According to their own statement, some family members reacted irritated to the entrance fee of £150. Some may not even come to the family dinner because of this. Bellucci doesn’t care: “If you want quality, you have to pay for it.” Going to a restaurant on holiday is not cheaper either. Why should she have to bear the costs if she could share them?
She had to hold back because of death threats
Bellucci is no stranger to Great Britain. She already caused a stir when she admitted on TV four years ago that she had had her nose done at taxpayer expense. She had feigned depression, which was allegedly caused by her supposedly crooked nose.
She was sometimes described as “the most hated woman in Britain”. She even had to move because she was threatened. She still gets insulted online. “The extent of the abuse I experience is unimaginable. It makes my life hell.” (ymh)
