The police immediately began searching and investigating. About an hour and a half later, the kidnapper returned with family members and handed the child over to emergency room staff.
According to police, during the alleged kidnapping, about 40 relatives of the child’s mother and the suspect’s families gathered in front of the clinic in a heated mood. It said a “possible confrontation” was prevented by a “strong police presence”. After emergency services issued several evictions, the situation calmed down.
