An 18-year-old from Hesse has been taken into custody for allegedly planning an attack on the lives of other people.
According to investigations so far, he has a solid anti-Semitic and right-wing extremist attitude, the Hessian State Criminal Investigation Department (LKA) in Wiesbaden and the Frankfurt am Main public prosecutor’s office announced on Monday. He threatened several times in relevant forums that he wanted to kill people in pursuit of his political goals.
During the search of his living quarters, investigators said they seized computers and mobile phones, as well as weapons and ammunition, which the LKA said reinforced their suspicions. The investigation into the gun legislation is still ongoing.
