Investigators from police unit Lahav 433, also known as Israel’s FBI, have been interrogating captured Hamas terrorists for weeks. They want to hold them accountable for the October 7 atrocities that killed 1,400 people.
Lahav 433 also spoke to survivors of the massacre; approximately 700 witness statements were included in the investigation. The unit has now published the first results: the terrorists not only murdered under the influence, but also committed gang rape during their campaign.
“She was standing on her feet and bleeding.”
They acted inhumanely, according to a woman whose testimony was published by police. She could hide from the terrorists, but had to watch what they did to another woman.
“She was still alive, standing on her feet and bleeding. They pulled her hair. She had long brown hair,” the witness said. “They passed them from one to the other.” She describes even more atrocities. They then murdered and mutilated the young woman’s body.
It is an important statement because previous reports of rape have only come from Zaka members. The volunteer organization helps recover and identify the bodies. They reported numerous female corpses showing mutilations or signs of sexual violence. Some women were tied up.
Trained for this day for years
The Public Prosecution Service is trying to prove all crimes committed by the hundreds of Hamas terrorists in captivity. The researchers are looking at approximately 50,000 videos recorded on October 7 and after.
According to Haaretz, the terrorists in custody include a commander of a Hamas unit that killed 14 people during the attack. During interrogations, he stated that they had been training for this day for “years.” And that they were given religious permission to kill and behead children. “Because when they grow up, they will become Israeli soldiers.” They were beheaded ‘to spread fear among the Israelis’.
