“France is committed to this conflict to prevent any escalation, to call for peace and to protect all citizens,” Macron said. He reiterated his triad of counter-terrorism, protection of the population and political discussions. He also stressed: “The fight against terror does not justify the sacrifice of civilians.” France has called for a humanitarian ceasefire and is providing humanitarian aid. In the evening, the Foreign Ministry announced that it would send two more flights of relief supplies for the people in the Gaza Strip. (SDA)
