Users demand suspension

What was intended as a show could now be Newgas’ professional downfall, T-Online reports. Under the post, the two write: “For everyone else: don’t take it too seriously.” Nevertheless, some users on “This is a resounding slap in the face to everyone for whom 500 euros is still a lot of money,” the user wrote.

The police responded to X and indicated that the complaint would be forwarded. As the Dortmund police confirmed at the request of T-Online, this has now happened. “The associated video material is now being evaluated. At this time we cannot provide any information about possible results,” the police said.

Video was intended to be ‘satirical’.

Newgas does not understand the fuss about the short film. It was meant to be satirical and funny. “It should be a provocation for those who spread hate online,” the 36-year-old told T-Online. And she does not want to simply accept possible professional consequences: “If I am suspended, I will have to take legal action,” she says. So far, no one from the police station has approached the 36-year-old.

According to T-Online, Chico will fly to Turkey next week and plans to comment on the incident there, as television stations there reported on the video on Monday. The money from the video was donated by Chico to a small football club, Candice assures. (An)
