A woman is suing the luxury hotel chain Ritz-Carlton in the US. It is said that she was given “semen-contaminated” water.

It was supposed to be a relaxing birthday weekend in California. But instead, a woman who wishes to remain anonymous experienced pure hotel horror in California. She is therefore now suing the renowned luxury hotel chain Ritz-Carlton, as ‘Mercury News’ reports.

The reason is extremely disgusting: the woman was allegedly given “sperm-contaminated” water. She allegedly received the bottle with the disgusting cocktail in her room via room service on November 18, 2022. After taking a sip from the bottle, the woman reportedly noticed an unusual taste.

Water analysis clear

“She drank and immediately knew there was something wrong with the liquid she had just swallowed,” the complaint states. Then she had a terrible suspicion about what it might be in the water. Den: “The taste and texture of the water she drank could have been semen.”

Disgusted, the victim turned to her husband. The incident was reported and the water was analyzed. A little later, the couple was shocked to read the test results: there was indeed semen in the water.

Ritz-Carlton is taking a stand

The couple is now suing for assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligence by a hotel employee. The traumatic event left the plaintiff fearful of possible sexually transmitted diseases.

How did the luxury hotel chain respond to the allegations? To compensate, Ritz-Carlton only offered a few loyalty points for further bookings. The company also allegedly refused to provide the water bottle and a copy of the test results to police. They also do not want to reveal the identities of the hotel employees who were on duty on the day of the disgusting act.

The lawsuit states that Ritz-Carlton tolerates the bad behavior of its employees. The couple is seeking unspecified damages. An overnight stay at the hotel, which is located right on the sea in the town of Half Moon Bay, costs the equivalent of about R720. (no)
