On Tuesday morning, Sabrina Durán was shot dead on the street in Santiago de Chile.

Sabrina Durán (†24) lies with her head down in a street in Santiago de Chile. The young woman tries in vain to get up. Suddenly a masked man stands over her. Loud bangs are heard several times as the man fires his gun at the woman lying on the ground. Then he gets into her car and drives away, leaving Durán motionless.

This scene was captured in a video currently circulating on social media. A passerby observed and filmed the bloody act in the Chilean capital on Tuesday morning.

“Pay bills”

According to local news media, Durán was on his way to a nail salon that morning. In Padre Hurtado’s community, the single mother was stopped by three men and then publicly executed.

The 24-year-old’s stolen car was later found burning in the town of Quilcura. Chilean police have not yet revealed a motive. Investigators say the murder is related to “paying bills.” No further information about the perpetrator or motive is given.

Last year, Durán was arrested as the leader of a local drug gang. She was sentenced to three years in prison for drug trafficking. However, last month she was released on parole and allowed to serve her sentence under house arrest.

On Tiktok, the deceased was known as the “Tiktok Narco Queen”. She regularly posted videos to her 574,000 followers, often promoting cosmetic products. A day before her death, she showed off products from DCM Cosmetics.

Brand owner Chanel Morales told LUN that she had overlooked Durán’s troubled past. “She attracted a lot of attention on Tiktok because she was the narco queen, a bad woman, but her appearance and her voice said the opposite,” Morales said. “She was very kind and loved supporting small businesses.” (gs)
