Revenge attack on ex: St. Gallen court convicts Sprayer for spelling mistakes

He let out his anger. A man in his mid-forties panicked after his relationship ended. He drove to his ex’s house and threw several eggs against the wall of the house. He then spray-painted a two-word insult at the woman on the asphalt with yellow paint, such as “St. Galler Tagblatt» reports.

But that didn’t seem to dampen the unemployed mechanic’s anger. Four months later, he visited his ex’s house again.

He added the woman’s first name to the same insult as last time, this time spraying it at the entrance to the underground parking garage, on the sidewalk and on the wall opposite the garage.

Jail time for angry ex

He made the same spelling mistake over and over again. For example, the police found a suspect and paint residue was found on his finger. The man was tried before the Werdenberg-Sarganserland court.

The man denied the charges and his lawyer called for an acquittal. Vain. The sprayer was convicted for the two acts of revenge. He must spend 120 days in prison and pay a fine of 300 francs. (gs)
