According to Israeli sources, there are indications that Hamas has also killed babies in its terrorist attacks. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he showed US Secretary of State Antony Blinken photos of babies allegedly killed by Hamas fighters in Israel over the weekend.

Some of the images were also published by the government cabinet on Thursday on the online service X, formerly Twitter. One image showed a dead baby in a body bag, while the other showed the charred remains of another child. “These are terrible photos of babies murdered and burned by Hamas monsters,” said the Prime Minister’s tweet.

Blinken also described the photos to journalists after the meeting with Netanyahu: ‘A baby, an infant, riddled with bullets. Soldiers beheaded, young people burned alive in their cars.” For any human being, such images “really go beyond almost anything we can understand and process,” the US Secretary of State added during his visit to Israel. ‘Images say more than a thousand words. These pictures might say a million.”

Hamas denies the accusations

Through the images, the entire world sees “new evidence of Hamas’ depravity and inhumanity,” Blinken said.

“Depravity and inhumanity directed against infants, small children, young adults, the elderly and people with disabilities.”

US President Joe Biden already seemed shocked by the images from Israel in Washington on Wednesday evening. “I’ve been doing this for a long time,” Biden said at the White House.

“I honestly never thought I would see pictures of terrorists beheading babies.”

The White House later clarified that the US government had not yet received independent confirmation of reports of babies being beheaded by Hamas fighters. Biden based his comments on information from Netanyahu’s spokesman, a spokesman said.

Hamas had previously denied killing any babies in the major attack on Israel. “Such claims have never been proven. No evidence has been provided to support such false claims,” said Essat al-Rishak of Hamas’s political bureau on Thursday. The “alleged atrocities” are false information from Israel.
