12-year-old saves his therapist’s life – thanks to “Stranger Things” Good news! We have found a home for Helga!

Austen’s parents repeatedly scolded their son when they caught him watching ‘Stranger Things’. But today they are grateful that he watched the series. The 12-year-old saved the life of his therapist.

It all happened on September 4, 2023 at the boy’s family home in Wellington, Florida, near West Palm Beach. Austen and his 30-year-old therapist, Piquettes, were in the pool. That was part of the therapy.

As they swam, they eventually began to figure out which of them could hold their breath longer underwater and kept track of this using a timer. Austen realized something had gone very wrong when he saw the timer reach about five minutes after one of Piquette’s moves.
