Hearing on the impeachment inquiry against Biden next week for the first time since the start of the war in China

Republican committee chairman James Comer told American broadcaster CNN that he planned to have a financial and constitutional expert speak during the hearing. They should discuss why impeachment proceedings against Biden are justified.

In order to actually start impeachment proceedings against Biden after an investigation, a majority in the House of Representatives would be required. Biden’s Democrats have a slim majority there. The possibility that the president will ultimately be found guilty and removed from office has so far been ruled out. (sda/dpa)
