On the night from Wednesday to Thursday, a group of men from Dortmund allegedly raped an 18-year-old tourist from Hanover in a hotel room near the infamous Ballermann on the holiday island of Mallorca. A Spanish investigating judge has taken five German men between the ages of 21 and 23 into custody.
Now an alleged roommate of the group, sometimes referred to as a “German pack” by the Spanish press, has spoken out. She reports that the young men from North Rhine-Westphalia were housed in rooms 323 and 4107 in the hotel complex. The 52-year-old German, who lived in room 4108, told the “Mallorca Zeitung” that the men were having loud parties in room 4107.
The German complained at the reception
«The hotel is very noisy so the pool party woke me up. When one of the young Germans went back to his room, I waited for him and asked him to end the party,” says the housemate, who was on vacation with her two teenage daughters. The man responded “super nice and very polite, apologized and actually convinced the rest to end the party.” That was on July 10.
The men would have celebrated again the next evening, the tourist continued. “I went to the front desk and complained. A hotel employee then threatened to evict the occupants of room 4107. Then things calmed down a bit.”

She also overheard a party in the men’s room on the alleged night of the crime. Finally she was awakened by a knock on the door. “There was a lot of police,” the German recalled.
According to the investigations to date, the alleged victim initially voluntarily returned to her hotel with one of the young men. The two had met the night before at the party mile in Playa de Palma. After being refused entry to the woman’s hotel, they continued to the hotel where the suspects were staying. According to local media reports, Spanish police have seized a mobile phone video that could seriously incriminate the suspects. (no)
